Our PWC training offers theory in a structured, engaging format:
- Theory & Knowledge Test: Learn the essential rules and safety regulations before sitting the exam.
- Examination & Certification: Pass the multiple-choice test to qualify for your jetski licence in NSW.
About the Exam
Boat Licence Exam
- 50 multiple-choice questions.
- The first 20 questions must be answered correctly of the remaining 30 questions,
you must get at least 24 correct.
PWC Exam
- 15 multiple-choice questions.
- You must get 12 correct answers.
- If you don’t pass on the first try, you can retake the exam immediately. A second failure allows you to resit the test at a later date at any of our courses or at our office, free of charge.
- If you need additional training, you’re welcome to attend any of our theory seminars at no extra cost.

Licence Course Pricing
We offer competitive pricing for individuals and groups, making it easy and affordable to get your jetski licence in NSW. As a general boat license is required for PWC, we offer a course combining the two:
- Adult: $535 per person
- Two Adults: $509 per person
- Under 18: $509 per person
- Group Discounts (4-10 people): $499 per person
If you already hold a boat license, we offer PWC upgrade-only courses starting at $175.
What Happens After Completing Your PWC Licence Training?
Upon successfully passing the PWC licence course, you will receive a completed application form. Simply present this, along with the required licence fee, at a Service NSW centre to obtain your official PWC boat licence. You will also need your boat license or completed boat license application form (if you sat both together).
